Dr. Samir Bagasrawala is a Consultant Robotic, Laparoscopic GI and Bariatric Surgeon at the Department of Minimal Access Surgery, Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.  

Dr. Bagasrawala practices Gastrointestinal (GI), Laparoscopic & Bariatric Surgery at Saifee Hospital, Breach Candy Hospital, Wockhardt Hospital, Conwest & Manjula S. Badani Jain Hospital (Jain Clinic), and Masina Hospital (all in Mumbai).

Dr. Bagasarwala completed his M.S. in General Surgery from Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences (Sawangi Meghe), Wardha. Dr. Bagasrawala has been awarded a Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery by Saifee Hospital (accredited by M.U.H.S., Nashik) and a Fellowship in Advanced Laparoscopy and Bariatrics by the Digestive Health Institute, Mumbai (under the tutelage of Dr. Muffazal Lakdawala himself).

Subsequently, Dr. Bagasrawala spent time in the U.K. working as a Gastrointestinal Surgeon, specialising in colorectal and upper GI surgery. During this time, he completed his M.Ch. in Surgical Gastroenterology and was awarded a Fellowship in Surgical Gastroenterology by the prestigious North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust, Carlisle, U.K. Dr. Bagasrawala specialises in advanced Gastrointestinal, Bariatric & Colorectal Surgery as well as complex hernia surgical techniques and provides the best care for his patients.
