Paediatric Orthopaedics

Overview

The early treatment of orthopaedic disorders in babies and children is crucial to their musculoskeletal development and health as adults. Our teams at the Department of Paediatric Orthopaedics are trained to perform physical examinations of your children to try an identify underlying conditions before adopting imaging techniques. We are further equipped to treat a range of common musculoskeletal disorders in children, including hip dysplasia, clubfoot, and congenital disorders.

The doctors at the Department of Paediatric Orthopaedics also know how to recognise the orthopaedic manifestations of other underlying disorders, like metabolic and genetic disorders. We work in conjunction with the radiology, pathology, intensive care, sports medicine and rehabilitation departments so as to cover all aspects of children’s orthopaedic needs.

We believe in providing your child with first-in-class orthopaedic care so that they can develop into a healthy adult.
