Overview

At the Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre, we focus on making medical care as straightforward, organised, and quick as possible. Right from registration/admission to discharge, we ensure that patients feel comfortable and stress-free over the course of their recovery. All admission-related processes have been formulated keeping empathy and simplicity in mind. Our patients have a variety of cost-effective options to choose from based on their preferences. We also have provisions for caregivers to stay with patients during the hospitalisation process. Our customer care team is available at all times to assist you with any queries that you may have.

To obtain an estimate for your surgery or treatment, please visit the Estimate Desk, located on the 1st Floor of the Tower Building, at least 3–5 days before your expected admission date. You can also request an estimate by emailing us at RFH.Estimate@rfhospital.org.

The inpatient admission will begin upon the recommendation of a consultant affiliated with RFH. If a patient is referred from an external physician not affiliated with us for admission, the patient will be admitted following an evaluation by the Emergency Medical Services team.

Our hospital offers 8 different room and bed types with a total of 358 beds, including 251 in-patient beds, and isolation rooms. Each room is designed to receive ample natural light features soft, calming interiors to promote recovery. Regardless of the room type, all patients receive the same medical care. Every room includes a customised bed head panel, access to medical gases, a bedside nurse call system facilities for patients’ attendants, and an accessible washroom area for differently abled people.

Economy Room: ₹2,100

The Economy Rooms have been designed to accommodate four or five patients. Each room has a sofa bed for attendants, bedside nurse call system, Wi-Fi, and piped music. These spacious rooms are large and spacious, with adequate space for patient movement, and are designed to international standards.

Economy Plus Room: ₹2,700

The Economy Plus Rooms have been designed to accommodate three patients in a room. Each room has sofa cum beds for attendants, a nurse call system at each patient's bedside, Wi-Fi, and piped music. The rooms are large and spacious, with ample space for patient movement, and adhere to international standards.

Twin-Sharing Room: ₹3,200

The Twin-Sharing Rooms have two patient beds, a sleeping arrangement for attendants, Wi-Fi, and a separate television for each patient. These rooms are designed for comfort and space designed for international standards, provide ample space for patient movement.

Deluxe Room: ₹8,000

The Deluxe Rooms are private, self-contained rooms with an entertainment system, Wi-Fi, and a couch for the attendant.

Premium Deluxe Room: ₹11,000

The Premium Deluxe Rooms are self-contained single rooms with an entertainment system, Wi-Fi, enhanced patient amenities, and a couch for the attendant.

Junior Suite: ₹15,000

The Junior Suite is a well-appointed, large, single room with an entertainment system, Wi-Fi, enhanced patient amenities, and a sofa bed for the attendant.

Grand Suite: ₹22,500

The Grand Suite includes a patient room with an entertainment system, Wi-Fi, and a guest-entertaining room furnished with a sofa cum bed, massage chair, and separate bathroom. It comes serviced with a butler on call, an entertainment system, a complimentary fruit platter upon arrival, and other enhanced patient amenities.

Presidential Suite: Price on Request

The Presidential Suite offers a perfect blend of luxury and privacy for the patient and his or her family. The 970–square-feet suite includes separate rooms for the patient family and staff for security personnel and patient support staff. Each room its separate entrances, ensuring the family’s privacy and comfort without compromising direct medical access and patient care services. The suite features a private balcony with a breathtaking view of the South Mumbai skyline. A dedicated butler is available on call, includes an entertainment system, a complimentary fruit platter upon arrival, a selection of magazines, and a variety of other premium patient amenities.

All the rooms are large and spacious, with adequate space for patient movement, and conform to international standards.

  • Please ensure that pre-admission tests prescribed by your physician are complete before your admission date.
  • We request that an attendant accompany you throughout your stay until discharge.
  • Reservation does not guarantee the bed or room of your choice. While we will make every effort to accommodate your preference, availability at the time of admission might affect this.
  • Admission timings will be communicated as per bed availability. Although we strive to provide your bed at the scheduled time, unforeseen circumstances may occasionally cause delays.

Please note that patients and their families are responsible for their own valuables and belongings. The hospital will not be liable for the loss/theft of any valuables.

  • Please ensure that your insurance formalities are completed at least 48 hours before admission. In case of partial approval from your insurance company, 50% of the difference is payable at the time of admission.
  • Please submit the original Credit Letter within 24 hours of admission. In the absence of the original Credit Letter, the patient will be required to settle the bill directly.
  • Any Charges for non-medical items (as specified in the MoU), are payable by the patient.

  • The hospital has Floor Co-ordinators or Patient Experience Executives stationed on every floor (9:30 am–6:00 pm) to assist both the patient and their family, ensuring a comfortable stay.

  • If you downgrade to a lower bed class, the corresponding rate will apply from the date of allotment.
  • In you up-grade to a higher bed class, the new rates will be applicable from the first day of admission.
  • All request regarding upgradation and down-gradation, need to be registered with the Patient Experience Executive stationed on your floor.

At Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre, we aim to make the discharge process seamless.

  • If you are paying via a credit card or have a final authorisation note (guarantee of payment) from the TPA/Insurance/Corporate covering the final bill, then you will be processed directly from your inpatient room.
  • For cash payments, please visit the Discharge Hub on the 1st Floor of the Tower Building (cash payment above ₹2,00,000 is not accepted, as per government regulations).
  • We do not accept cheque payments at the time of discharge.
  • All attendant and visitor passes should be returned to the Patient Experience Executive for discharge clearance.

  • At Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre, we believe in patient-centred and family-centred care. Our planning and infrastructure facilitate comfortable arrangements for relatives and friends visiting the patient.
  • In view of patient safety and your safety, we request that only one attendant stay with the patient in the ward till discharge.
  • In case the patient is shifted to the ICU, you are requested to vacate the room; the authorised attendant will be allowed to visit the patient during the ICU visiting hours.
  • For attendant’s convenience in the ward, you can place your in-room dining request with our F&B staff or scan the QR code placed in your room to access the online menu for food items, which are available for an additional cost.
  • Use hand sanitisers or wash your hands often to keep your family safe.
  • Always wear a face mask.

We at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre, value patient- & family-centred care. Adequate facilities and arrangements have been made to ensure comfort of relatives and friends visiting the patient.

  • ICU Visiting Timings: 11:00 am–01:00 pm & 05:00 pm–07:00 pm
  • Ward Visiting Timings: 05:00 pm–07:00 pm
  • The ICU clinical team will provide a daily clinical update to the registered attendant at a fixed time. Please coordinate with the ICU Co-ordinator.
  • Visitor’s Lounges are available on all inpatient floors.
  • Information Kiosks are located across throughout the hospital and providing information on hospital services, consultants, and directions.
  • The Visitor’s Cafeteria, open 24×7 to all visitors, is located on the Ground Floor of the Heritage Building.
  • Parking spaces are subject to availability and allotted on a first-come first-serve basis.
  • To avoid disturbing other patients & families, please keep noise to a minimum.
  • Visitor Lounges are for the use of multiple visitors; please be respectful of others while using these spaces.
  • In the interest of patient's health, do refrain from visiting the patient, if you have an infectious disease, such as a cold or flu.
  • We encourage frequent hand sanitising or washing to keep your family safe.
  • Children under 12 years of age are not allowed to visit the patient.
  • To help control infections, flowers and outside/home-cooked food are not permitted.
  • Cell phones are prohibited in certain areas, such as the ICU and OT area.

As per the hospital policy, only one visitor is allowed at a time during the visiting hours.

The hospital does not allow the use of home medications during your stay.

To request a upgrade or downgrade your room category, kindly contact the Patient Experience Executive stationed on your floor.

You need to pay 100% of the estimate amount prior to or at the time of admission.

This depends on the amount approved by the TPA.

If the TPA-approved amount is less than the hospital’s estimate, you will be required to pay the difference. This amount may be refunded upon discharge, based on the final bill.

For full approval, a security deposit of 10% of the approved amount is required at the time of admission.
