The prevalence of heart valve disease increases with age. According to an estimate, 6.4% of population over the age of 65 years have moderate or severe symptomatic valve disease. Therefore, as life expectancy improves, the prevalence of valvular diseases is likely to increase with a resultant increase in the burden of valvular diseases.

Hence, it is of paramount importance that a dedicated centre and team looks after the timely and guideline-based diagnosis and management of valvular heart diseases.

The Valve Clinic at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital is India’s leading centre for non-surgical valve replacement and repair. Internationally trained expert doctors for adult and paediatric structural and valve interventions, cardiac imaging, cardiac surgery are available at the clinic.

The Tower

At the Valve Clinic, Institute of Cardiac Sciences, we have an internationally trained team of expert doctors who provide the highest quality of patient-centric care. Our team is equipped to treat adult and paediatric structural heart and valve conditions.

The Valve Clinic are experts in non-surgical valve repair and replacement, including transcatheter aortic valve replacement/implantation (TAVR/TAVI), MitraClipTM, percutaneous pulmonary valve implantation (PPVI), transcatheter mitral valve replacement (TMVR), and balloon mitral valvotomy (BMV). Our interventions include both minimally invasive and open heart valve repairs and replacement.

The team also leverages cardiac imaging through our advanced 3D echocardiogram services to evaluate the condition of your heart. Our hybrid catheterisation (cath) lab, combines the advantages with best-in-class imaging services along with the most current surgical techniques. The Valve Clinic also houses a state-of-the-art ICU.

Our clinic is also involved in spreading community and patient awareness on valve diseases.
