The Tower

Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR/TAVI) is a minimally invasive procedure to replace a diseased heart valve. It can be used to treat aortic valve stenosis (or narrowing of the aortic valve). Our TAVR program uses advanced 3D echo imaging to optimally determine the condition of the heart prior to the procedure. The program also houses a hybrid catheterisation (cath) lab, which help a doctor to access advanced imaging techniques to move the catheter along your blood vessels, into the heart, and the aortic valve, where the replacement valve will be pressed into place inside the native aortic valve.

After the surgery, our state-of-the-art ICU is available to provide you with the best patient care. Our patient-centric approach further includes dedicated cardiac rehabilitation services to help you keep your heart healthy after the procedure. We additionally offer dietitian services to assist you in making lifestyle choices. Our dedicated valve clinic nurse coordinator is also available to assist you.
