The Department of Cardiac Surgery has highly specialised and qualified surgeons, who are supported by experienced nursing staff. The Department uses state-of-the-art equipment to further ensure the best care for our patients.

We provide minimal access cardiac surgery, and the Department additionally offers 3D transoesophageal cardiography. Our hybrid cath lab operating rooms are used to combine the most advanced imaging services along with our surgical services.

Our heart failure surgical services include surgical ventricular restoration, mitral, and tricuspid repair. We also offer orthotopic heart transplant surgery. To ensure you are best supported after surgery, we provide mechanical circulatory support machines, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) machines, and ventricular assist devices (VADs).

Other technologies at our department include isolated and concomitant surgical interventions for atrial fibrillation, pulmonary thromboendarterectomy (PTE) surgery, and single and bilateral sequential lung transplant.

Our well-trained team provides point-of-care services and 24x7 support to patients in acute cardiogenic shock or end-stage heart failure and patient transfer to our centre once stabilised. We, moreover, provide pre-surgery consultation, post-surgery rehabilitation, and personalised follow-up care.

Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG):
