Paediatric Nephrosciences

Overview

Nephrology involves studying and treating kidney disorders, which can be acute or chronic. Healthy kidneys are crucial for detoxifying the body, and kidney issues may lead to incontinence, impacting a child's self-image.

Paediatric Nephrology at H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital combines internationally trained specialists with advanced diagnostics. We strive to provide exceptional nephrological care for your child from infancy through adolescence.

The Tower

The Paediatric Nephrosciences department has advanced tools to diagnose and treat kidney diseases in children. We provide uroflowmetry and urodynamic studies to identify bladder issues and their causes. Our team collaborates with other departments to explore how kidney disorders affect your child.

We also have a clinical genetics unit for genetic counselling, which helps manage kidney diseases with a genetic basis. Our lab specializes in HLA testing to assess your child’s immunological status. We offer various types of dialysis services for children with renal failure.
