Dr. Parikh graduated from D.Y. Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai, and received his MS (Orthopaedics) and MCh (Orthopaedics) from the same institution. Thereafter, he received training in musculoskeletal oncology at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai.
Dr. Parikh is one of India’s youngest orthopaedic oncosurgeons with an exclusive musculoskeletal oncology practice. He has performed 1250+ procedures and treated 1000+ cases of bone and soft tissue-related tumours.
Dr. Parikh is the current Chairperson of the Under-40 Sarcoma Surgeons, International Society of Limb Salvage. He is an active participant in the Bombay Orthopaedic Society and is the Society’s Webmaster as well.
Dr. Parikh has authored 25+ publications and is an editorial board member of several journals. He is also a Founder-Member of the non-profit, Sarcoma Education Foundation, which helps train young orthopaedic oncologists.
