Dr. Swapnil Keny is a Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon in the Department of Orthopaedic at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
An alumni of Mumbai University, Dr. Swapnil Keny graduated from Topiwala National Medical College and Nair Hospital in 1998 with a Distinction in General Surgery. He completed his post-graduation from G.S. Seth Medical College in 2002. He underwent training in minimal invasive paediatric and adult spine surgery as a Zeta Fellow at the Lilavati and Fortis Hospital, Mumbai, 2003–2004; in Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgery as a Fellow at the Skubwezki University, Lubin, Poland, 2004; in Paediatric Spine Surgery as a Fellow at the Korea University, Seoul, 2005 and as a ASSI travelling Fellow at the Apollo Hospital, Chennai, 2006.
Currently, an Associate Professor, Dr. Keny’s field of speciality is Paediatric Orthopaedics with special interest in cerebral palsy, skeletal dysplasia, Illizarov limb reconstruction, and various developmental and acquired musculoskeletal conditions in children. He has publications in Internationally indexed and peer-reviewed Indian Journals and has co-authored book chapter on varied topics of Paediatric Orthopaedics and Spine Surgery. He also serves as a Reviewer on the Journal of Orthopaedic Anatomy.
