Dr. Potwar has undergone specialised training in the following domains: Reproductive Medicine and Embryology (International School of Medicine, Kiel-Göttingen-Munich, Germany); minimally invasive gynaecological surgical techniques (under Prof. Arnaud Wattiez at IRCAD, EITS, Strasbourg, France); advanced laparoscopic gynaecological surgical techniques (Sunrise Hospital, Kochi), and laparoscopic suturing techniques (C.E.M.A.S.T., Mumbai). She has also received training in Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Chikitsa Radiology Centre, Mumbai.
Dr. Potwar has worked at many prominent hospitals in Mumbai. She is also amongst the first doctors in Mumbai to employ ARVATI ThermiVa, an advanced non-surgical technology based on the use of radio-frequency energy for vulvovaginal tightening, in addition to the treatment of sexual dysfunction and urinary incontinence in women.
