Dr Himanshu S. Choudhury is the Lead of MSK & Cardiothoracic Imaging and Director-Academics & Research at the Radiology and Imaging department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After completing an M.B.B.S., D.M.R.D., and M.D., Dr Choudhury successfully pursued his D.N.B. and M.N.A.M.S. He was trained in cardio-thoracic imaging at Breach Candy Hospital, Mumbai. Furthermore, he received training in oncology imaging and imaging guided interventions at Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai. Dr Choudhury has a special interest in cardiothoracic and musculoskeletal imaging and imaging guided interventions. Currently, he is pursuing a Fellowship at The Royal College of Radiologists, London.
Earlier, Dr. Choudhury has worked as a consultant at Dr. L. H. Hiranandani Hospital and Research Centre, Powai, Mumbai and at Infinity Medical Centre, Parel, Mumbai. Previously, he worked at Breach Candy Hospital and Research Centre. He has attended various training workshops and conferences in addition to the FRCR training course at Bristol, United Kingdom in 2013.
Dr Choudhury has presented several research papers in various national and international conferences and has published scientific articles in reputable journals. He was awarded the Certificate of Merit at IRIA, National Conference, Ahmedabad (2009).
He holds the memberships of the European Congress of Radiology and Radiological Society of North America and Indian Radiological and Imaging Association and National Academy of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
