Dr. Bajpai graduated from N.S.C.B. Medical College, Jabalpur, and received her MD (General Medicine) from the same college. Thereafter, she received her DM (Medical Oncology) from AIIMS, New Delhi. She also holds international observerships in Immuno-Oncology and Melanoma from the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, New York, and in Bone and Soft Tissue Sarcoma from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, Baltimore.
Dr. Bajpai has worked at Tata Memorial Hospital for 15 years, advancing from Lecturer to Professor of Medical Oncology. She has been a Global Access & Impact Committee Core Member of the Society of Immunotherapy in Cancers (SITC), USA.
She has also been a faculty member of immune-oncology, immediate past faculty member of sarcomas and a core committee member for Women for Oncology (W4O) at European Society of Medical Oncology (ESMO). She was also the Convenor, Breast Cancer Disease Management Group, at Tata Memorial Hospital.
Dr. Bajpai is the Founding General Secretary for the Immuno-Oncology Society of India (IOSI) and Founder Chair for Women for Oncology - SAARC (under SAARC Federation of Oncology (SFO)). She is an Executive Member of the Indian Society of Medical and Paediatric Oncology (ISMPO) and is also the Founder Chair for Women for Oncology - India (under ISMPO). She is the Founder-Member and current Joint Secretary of the Teenage and Young Adult Cancer Association (TYAcan).
She has authored 196 research publications in international and national journals. She has contributed significantly to international mentorship programs of the ESMO and ASCO and HBNI fellowship in Immuno-Oncology.
