Dr. Kartik P Panikkar is a Consultant in the Department of Ophthalmology at the Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Dr. Panikkar is a Glaucoma Specialist. He completed his Diplomate of the National Board postgraduate training and long-term Fellowship in glaucoma at the prestigious Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore.
With a special interest in glaucoma diagnostics, he is proficient advanced diagnostic modalities such as the HRT and HEP. He is skilled in various glaucoma laser procedures, including iridotomy, iridoplasty, selective laser trabeculoplasty, and diode cyclophotocoagulation. Surgically, he is well-versed with topical cataract phacoemulsification, trabeculectomy, glaucoma surgeries, glaucoma valve surgeries, congenital glaucoma surgeries as well as microinvasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS).
