Her expertise lies in swallowing therapy for neurology and oncology patients and voice rehabilitation.
At Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, she has played a pivotal role in setting up and developing the Speech Language, and swallowing department, being one of the earliest team members since the inception of the hospital. She was also instrumental in launching the successful Stroke Support Group at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
She strongly believes in a multidisciplinary approach to rehabilitation and hence works closely with other specialities to ensure comprehensive care.
