Dr. Nandita Palshetkar is a Consultant in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Dr. Palshetkar pursued her MBBS from Grant Medical College, Mumbai and MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from Mumbai University in 1993. Thereafter, she completed the Fellowship of Indian College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1995. She continued her training in IVF & Micromanipulation from the University of Ghent, Belgium. As a pioneer of infertility treatment in India, she introduced various techniques, such as assisted laser hatching, embryo scope, and egg banking.
Dr. Palshetkar is the current President of the Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Society of India. She is a former president of Obstetric and Gynaecological Society in Mumbai, chairperson of the Indian Society of Reproduction, Maharashtra, and vice president of the Federation of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Dr. Palshetkar has delivered more than 700 lectures and authored several papers and book chapters. For her exemplary work in the field of women’s health, she has received numerous awards, including The ‘Economic Times’ Award for ‘Inspiring Gynaecologists of India’ in 2018, ‘Femina IMA Empowered Women Award’ in 2019, ‘Women Super Achievers Award’ at the 5th World Women Leadership Congress and Awards in 2018, ‘Bharat Gaurav Award’ in 2014, ‘House of Commons’ in London, and ‘Frost And Sullivan’ Best Practices Award as the Best Service Provider in India, 2013.
