About Us:

A leading gynaecologist, gynaecological endoscopic surgeon, and laparoscopic surgeon in Mumbai, Dr. Warty is a pioneer in the field of non-invasive (keyhole) surgery, specialising in advanced laparoscopic surgeries, such as laparoscopic pelvic floor repair, laparoscopic hysterectomies for gynaecological malignancies, and corrective surgeries for uterine malformations.

Dr. Warty completed her Masters from the Mumbai University, after which she received her formal training in laparoscopy from the Friedrich Schiller University, Jena, Germany and worked with stalwarts in the field of laparoscopic onco-gynaecology, such as Prof. Schneider and Prof. Marc Possover. She has also received training in laparoscopic oncology at the Whipps Cross Hospital, UK and in robotic laparoscopy from experts such as Dr. Puntambekar (Pune) and Dr. Choi Gyu Seong (Korea). Having performed over 10,500 endoscopic surgeries, Dr. Warty has been acknowledged in the Guinness Book of World Records and Limca Book of Records for removing the heaviest fibroid in the world (3.4 kg); later, she bettered this record, removing a fibroid that was much heavier (5.6 kg).

She won the prestigious ‘Best Research Video’ award at the 2016 American Association of Gynaecologic Laparoscopists annual conference. Dr. Warty is one of the few surgeons in India who has performed an entire operation for uterine cancer resection using keyhole surgery; she has trained more than 800 national and international surgeons.
