Diverse experience of 14 years in the field of Psychiatry
Dr. Nirmee Shah is a Consultant Psychiatrist in the Department of Psychiatry at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After completing her MBBS, Dr. Shah pursued advanced psychiatric training in the United Kingdom., where she trained at the prestigious St Mary’s Scheme in London. She was awarded the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT-UK) and went to work as a Consultant Psychiatrist at St Mary’s Hospital, Westminster, London.
With over 7 years of experience in Clinical Psychiatry, Dr. Shah has worked across a wide range of psychiatric specialties, including substance misuse, complex psychosis, pregnancy-related conditions and neuropsychiatry. Her extensive training spans across all age groups and various clinical settings, giving her a well-rounded expertise.
Dr. Shah holds an additional qualification in Clinical Pharmacology from the esteemed Glasgow University, where she was awarded the Eleanor Newell Prize for being the most outstanding student.
In addition to psychopharmacology, Dr. Shah is skilled in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy for the treatment of various mental disorders. She is also trained in Behaviour Family Therapy for managing psychosis.
