Dr. Pratik Shah is a Consultant in the Department of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. After his M.B.B.S., Dr. Shah completed his observership at Christ Hospital, New Jersey and Emory University, Atlanta, U.S.A. He has also completed U.S.M.L.E. steps with Certification (E.C.F.M.G.). He also worked briefly with intensive care training at Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai. He obtained his degree in D.N.B. (General Surgery) from the National Boards, New Delhi and subsequently completed his M.Ch. in Plastic Surgery from S.M.S. Hospital, Jaipur. He has extensive experience in reconstructive surgery for cancer, burns, trauma, craniofacial injuries, and congenital anomalies, such as cleft lip, cleft palate, and hypospadias, at Jaipur during his training.
Dr. Shah also completed his observership in body contouring, fat grafting, and other aesthetic procedures before joining a one-year fellowship in microsurgery (M.U.H.S.) at Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai. His major interests include Aesthetic surgery – Body Contouring, Breast reduction and augmentation, Facelift, Eyelid Surgery, Reconstructive microsurgery (Cancer, Trauma, Burns, and Hand Injuries), and Reparation of facio-maxillary injuries.
