Dr Purvi Shah is the Mentor at the Dermatology department, Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After completing her M.B.B.S., Dr Shah pursued M.D. in Dermatology and was a Gold medallist from the University of Mumbai. Thereafter, she served as a Resident doctor at the Department of Skin and Venereal Diseases at Seth G. S. Medical College and the K.E.M. Hospital.
During her over 37 years of experience, Dr. Shah has treated several patients as well as taught students as a lecturer in the Department of Skin and V.D. at K.E.M Hospital. She has been a consulting dermatologist since 1988 and was previously associated with Conwest Jain Clinic Group of Hospitals.
Dr.Shah has vast experience in treatment of Auto-immune Vesicular Bullous disorder like Bullous-pemphigoid and Pemphigus-vulgaris with Rituximab. She has treated 30+ patients in RFH.
Dr Shah was involved in the research projects, Clinical, Mycological and Immunological Spectrum of Cutaneous Candidiasis; and Clinical and Bacterial Investigation of Common Pyodermas; Clinical Trial of Terfinadine. She has presented numerous papers at conferences as well as published papers in reputed journals.
