Dr. Rahul Shah is a Consultant in the Department of Orthopaedics at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Dr. Shah completed his MBBS from Grant Medical College & Sir J.J Hospital in 1985 followed by an MS (Orthopaedics) in 1989 and D’Orth from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Mumbai. He underwent specialised training at the Princess Margaret Rose Hospital, Edinburgh, UK for Basic and Advanced Techniques of Total Hip and Knee Replacement, and at the Centre of Excellence, Hospital for Special Surgery, New York, USA for Joint Replacement. He learned Shoulder and Knee Arthroscopy at Oxford University and Uni-compartmental Knee Arthroplasty at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre.
Dr. Shah has worked at many prestigious hospitals across the city and trained at several international centres including the University of Dundee, Scotland for advanced total joint arthroplasty and revision techniques, and at Hamburg, Germany for advanced techniques in Minimal Invasive Knee Surgery.
