About Us:

Dr. Bansal graduated from Padmashree Dr. D. Y. Patil Medical College, Navi Mumbai. Thereafter, she received her MS (Obstetrics and Gynaecology) from Lokmanya Tilak Medical College and Hospital, Mumbai and DNB. Dr. Bansal received her MCh (Gynaecological Oncology) from Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai, where she also worked for 6 years. She is highly skilled in performing all major gynaecological cancer surgeries, including minimally invasive surgeries (robotic and laparoscopic surgeries)

Dr. Bansal is a member of the European Society of Gynaecological Cancers and Association of Gynaecologic Oncologists of India. She has made numerous award-winning presentations at various national conferences.

Areas of Expertise & Special Interest:

  • Complex debulking or cytoreductive surgery, including exenterations, recto-sigmoid resections, diaphragmatic stripping/ resections, total peritonectomy and radical omentectomy, for advanced ovarian and recurrent pelvic cancers procedures like
  • HIPEC for advanced gynaecologic cancers
  • Advanced robotic and laparoscopic surgery, including radical hysterectomy and pelvic and para-aortic lymph node dissection, for uterine, early-stage ovarian, and early-stage cervical cancers
  • Vulval cancer surgery - Radical vulvectomy with groin lymph node dissection with plastic reconstruction
  • Complex pelvic surgeries for severe endometriosis and large fibroids.
