Dr. Saba Shaikh is a Consultant Radiologist at the Department of Radiology and Imaging at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
She graduated in 1997 from T.N.M.C. Nair Hospital, Mumbai University. She completed her D.M.R.D. and D.M.R.E. in 2000 and D.N.B. (Radiology) in 2002, all from L.T.M.M.C, Sion, Mumbai.
Dr. Shaikh has worked at several radiology centres and is familiar with conventional radiology X-Rays, Barium studies, IVP studies, ultrasound, colour doppler imaging, D.S.A., MRI, conventional and multislice CT, and other interventional radiology procedures. She is proficient in routine abdominal and antenatal examination and colour doppler of the peripheral limbs, kidneys, and abdomen for renal transplants. She is experienced in all ultrasound-guided interventions and has carried out intraoperative ultrasound for several complex interventional procedures including, bypass graft patency and renal transplant perfusion.
Her special area of interest is intra-operative ultrasounds and USG guided interventions including LASER ablation of varicose veins. She has authored six journal articles and made five conference presentations.
