Dr. Shailesh Raina graduated from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune (1975 MBBS and 1981 M.S.) and resumed his training in urology in the U.K. at the Bristol Royal Infirmary, The Institute of Urology in London, and Taunton and Somerset Hospitals.
Dr. Raina trained in robotic arm surgery at OLV Robotic Surgery Institute in Aalst, Belgium and the Da Vinci Training Centre IRCAD Strasbourg, France. As an Assistant Professor at J.J. Hospital, Grant Medical College in Mumbai, he helped re-establish the renal transplantation programme and has been associated with D.N.B. and Postgraduate teaching.
Dr. Raina is a renal transplantation expert in many prestigious institutions across the city. He has delivered talks and participated in many conferences and workshops as a subject expert.
