Dr Somesh Lala is the Director of Conventional Radiology, Ultrasound & Mammography at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After completing his M.B.B.S., Dr. Somesh Lala completed his D.M.R.D. from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. Thereafter, he finished his D.N.B. in Radiology from Bombay Hospital, Mumbai and submitted his dissertation titled ‘Role of Computed Tomography and Digital Subtraction Angiography in Subarachnoid Hemorrhage’ to the National Board of Examination, New Delhi.
He has been the Head of Sonography Department at Bombay Hospital and has also been associated with several reputable hospitals and imaging centres in Mumbai.
In several states of the United States (New York, New Jersey, and Cleveland), Dr. Somesh has gained experience in various imaging techniques, including ultrasonography, CT, mammography, endoscopic ultrasonography, and bone mineral densitometry.
He has attended several conferences, workshops, and CMEs and delivered lectures in his field. He wrote a chapter on Doppler ultrasound abdomen and chaired a session in an Obstetrics/Gynaecology conference held at the College of Physicians and Surgeons on 3D/4D ultrasonography and foetal echocardiography.
Dr. Somesh Lala has been President of World Medical Association and conducted several CMEs and Health Camps.
