Dr. Susheel Bindroo is the Director of Interventional Pulmonology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, Mumbai. He received his medical degree from SP Medical College, Bikaner, and did his post-graduate residency in Pulmonary Medicine from VP Chest Institute and MA Medical College, Delhi. He earned his Diploma in Critical Care from the Indian Society of Critical Care Medicine, followed by a Fellowship in Critical Care from the National Board of Examinations. He completed his training in Interventional Pulmonology at Penn Medical Centre, Philadelphia. He has an EDIC and an EDARM and has earned a fellowship from the American College of Chest Physicians.
With over 15 years of clinical expertise, Dr. Bindroo specialises in the treatment of all lung-related disorders and critically ill patients. He is one of the pioneers of interventional pulmonology in India and has performed more than 500 endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) procedures and other complex procedures, including medical thoracoscopy, stenting of tracheobronchial airways, ablation of endo-bronchial tumours, and placement of indwelling pleural catheters.
