Dr. Trimurti D Nadkarni is a Consultant at the Department of Neurosurgery, Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre since 1991.
Dr. Nadkarni is also a Professor at the Department of Neurosurgery, KEM Hospital and Seth GS Medical College, Mumbai. Dr. Nadkarni holds the record for successfully excising a brain tumour weighing 1380 grams, which is amongst the largest brain tumours reported in literature. He is a post-graduate teacher and examiner for the M.Ch.(Neurosurgery), at the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik. He has been involved in teaching and training several neurosurgery postgraduate students.
Dr. Nadkarni has 100+ publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals and has authored several book chapters in neurosurgery textbooks. He is a member of several national and international societies including Asian Congress of Neurosurgical Surgeons, The International Society of Paediatric Neurosurgery, Neurological Society of India, and Congress of Neurological Surgeons, amongst others. Dr. Nadkarni is also the Associate Editor of International Journal of Neurosurgery & Neurology.
