More than three decades of proficient experience in the field of Paediatric Neurosurgery
Dr. Uday Andar is a Consultant Paediatric Neurosurgeon at the Department of Neurosurgery, Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
He completed his M.B.B.S. from University of Bombay in 1980, followed by M.Ch. (Paediatric Neurosurgery) in 1985. Dr. Andar has been a part of several renowned institutions such as the KEM Hospital, Mumbai, Newcastle General Hospital & Regional Neurosciences Center, UK, Addenbrookes Hospital & Regional Neurosciences Center, UK, Hospital for Children, London, UK, and National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, London, UK holding various positions including honourable Clinical Director and Consultant Neurosurgeon.
Dr. Andar has been a Professor and Academic Head of Paediatric Neurosurgery at Wadia Children’s Hospital, Mumbai, since 2004. He also held the position of Visiting Professor at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital, London, UK (2001–2011). Dr. Andar is a part of the Editorial Board of Indian Journal of Paediatric Neurosurgery and holds a lifetime membership of various medical associations including The Indian Medical Association Neurological Society of India and International Society of Paediatric Neurosurgery. He is also a research advisor to YP2D Lifesciences, India. Dr. Andar has published over 40 articles to his credit and has presented his work at several national and International conferences.
