Dr Kavita Bhalekar, is the Chief Nursing Officer for Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital & Research Centre and all Reliance Health initiatives. Dr Kavita is responsible for managing new and existing Nursing Operations of Reliance Foundation Hospital, and will lead the Nursing operations of the Hospital and ensures delivery of best clinical and nursing services to the patients.
Dr Kavita Bhalekar is a highly accomplished Healthcare Operations Executive, with 24 years of impressive track record in various healthcare systems. She has successfully commissioned and led Hospitals, Medical centres, first aid post and school health clinics within UAE & KSA. Dr. Kavita is an expert in healthcare operations, projects, performance, quality and patient safety.
Prior to joining Reliance Foundation Hospital, Dr Kavita was working with VAMED - REEM Hospital UAE as Chief Nursing Officer. Prior to that She was with NMC Speciality Hospital, Abu Dhabi.
She holds a PhD in Nursing from Bhartiya Vidyapeeth, Pune. She is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executive. Additionally she has completed her Healthcare MBA from Geneva Business school, and is also a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality from NAHQ. Dr Kavita has authored and co-authored various publications in peer reviewed journals. She has participated as a speaker at conferences like Arab Health and Emirates critical care conference and is currently serving as an active member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, MENA Region. Dr Kavita interests lies in learning new skills, mentoring team members, meeting new people and traveling.
