Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS)

Since its introduction three decades ago, TMS has been increasingly used to provide novel insights into the pathophysiology and in managing many neurological and psychiatric conditions. It is a non-invasive brain stimulation technique used for modulating brain activation.

Very few centres in our country offer this service, and this is possibly the first facility in Mumbai providing transcranial magnetic stimulation services to the selected population of patients, who require it.
